Nneka McGee has served public schools for over 15 years. She taught middle school mathematics for six years and was recognized as a district finalist for teacher of the year. Nneka has also served as a district coordinator, director, executive director, and currently, as Chief Academic Officer for San Benito Consolidated Independent School District. She is a member of HAKing Innovation's Board of Directors, a non-profit organization providing students STEM access and opportunities. As part of her doctoral studies, Nneka is researching the impact of artificial intelligence in K-12 learning environments. She has shared her work with AI in education as a panelist or presenter at local, state, and national roundtables and conferences. The EdSAFE AI Alliance recently selected Nneka as a fellow for its 2023 Leadership Network. She resides in south Texas and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
